How can I fix my teeth and smile?

See what Invisalign, crowns, veneers, teeth whitening, bonding, implants, gum reshaping, or even a complete dental makeover, can do for your smile.

To get you started with your smile makeover, here are some ways to improve your teeth and gums with cosmetic dentistry:

Teeth Whitening

Teeth Whitening is a very popular topic in the dental world and it’s one that our patients often ask about. Many patients want to have a brighter smile before their big wedding day, for a new job, or just to simply have a whiter smile. There are a wide variety of products available to you, some of which can be purchased at a retail store but they may not offer the same degree of changes that you’d get from a dentist, and they may leave your teeth very sensitive.

Effective and efficient, teeth whitening treatment procedures have become increasingly popular during the last few years as more advancements in dental technology become available. As a result, it is important to consult with our dentist before deciding on any specific whitening procedure.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is the direct application of a tooth-colored putty onto one or more teeth. It is used to correct small chips and fractures, as well as to coat discolored teeth and fill small cavities. This non-invasive procedure takes about 30 minutes per tooth.

Dental Veneers

If your teeth have chips, gaps, or aren’t classically shaped, porcelain veneers can help you get the smile you want. Veneers are a thin cover that sits on top of your teeth to give your smile the look that you want.

As long as your teeth and gums are healthy, you can choose between several different options. Your dentist will help you find the right option. During the process, your dentist will create a mold of your teeth, form the veneers, and then place them onto your teeth. In the end, you’ll have a long-lasting and beautiful smile!

Dental Crowns

A crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that’s placed over a weak or damaged tooth to improve its shape, size, strength, or appearance. Most crowns last five to 15 years and can be made of metal, porcelain fused to metal, resin, or ceramic. Before a crown is seated, the existing tooth is filed down; then the crown is cemented over it, fully encasing the tooth. Onlays and three-quarter crowns cover the underlying tooth to a lesser extent.

Dental Implants

Dental implants improve the smile by replacing missing or badly damaged teeth. The process of getting an implant takes several months to complete and requires two or more minor surgeries.

Dental implants are actually permanent artificial teeth that come with a root and a crown. They perform all the functions of natural teeth: They grind food, stimulate the jaw and make a person’s smile beautiful and gap free.

Invisalign or Braces

Invisalign is a transparent, plastic form of dental braces used to adjust teeth. Invisalign gently moves teeth into the right position. Invisalign and traditional braces both achieve the same results, to improve the alignment of your teeth and produce a straighter, more aesthetically pleasing smile. The differences between the two are more than the visual difference between the clear aligner and traditional metal braces. Both of these treatment methods also have their pros and cons, so it’s up to you and your dentist to decide what’s best for you.

Smile Makeovers

A combination of dental techniques can be used to achieve a great smile. Here, porcelain veneers and crowns correct crooked teeth, an uneven gum line, and other chipped, worn, and discolored dentistry. While cosmetic dentists can make a dramatic difference in a person’s smile and overall oral health, the work must be carefully planned.
